Fun with the “grandparents” is coming to an end 😥

Two weeks go by way too quickly.

Just as the new rhythm feels normal and the grandparents are trained to be reliable treat dispensers, they head off back to Germany.

They will be missed until they’re back.

I can’t say how much I appreciate that they love the dogs, happy to play with them despite their age (my parents’) and size (the dogs’) 😛 

And I appreciate that the dogs effortlessly adapted to having my parents around and their routine disrupted.

I’ve spoken to enough dog trainers and behaviorists to know that it’s not something to be taken for granted.
