One week to go …

I wasn't thinking about writing a book about, let alone through the lens of a dog until ...

... the lovely Christine Passo tagged me in a post on LinkedIn talking about Lonnee Rey looking for a group of PAWTHORS 🐾

Initially, I just thought of sharing it here in the weekly Soul Touched by Dogs newsletter but then I saw that ...

Lonnee doesn't just take care of editing the contributors' chapters and publishing the book, she actually guides us through the writing process itself in a writing weekend workshop.

So, it's a combination of learning, writing AND becoming a published author in a matter of days.

And there it was .. that oh-so-familiar sensation in my gut that indicates a HELL YES 💥

Especially after meeting Lonnee .. she's funny and sharp, and this isn't her first rodeo in the multi-author book publishing game.

We had a content strategy session yesterday, starting to look at which core message to share and which angle to take. We both cried, so it’s going to be deeply personal and emotional.

Elizabeth explains each element—Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal, and Water—detailing the traits, behaviors, and needs of dogs corresponding to each element.

I found it amazing how easy it was to recognize my own dogs in these archetypes, and how understanding them offers insight into how to support our dogs best.
