The brand-new shop

I’m super excited today!

For quite a while now, I’ve been wanting a decent shop with t-shirts, sweatshirts and hoodies I’d want to wear myself and give away as gifts.

And what better time to create and launch it than just in time for the holidays 😛

So, let me introduce you to the brand new Soul Touched by Dogs shop!

The first product I created was a super cute (if I may say so myself 😛) wall calendar, then another .. have a look:

Since we’re an international bunch with me in Spain and you most likely in the US, UK or somewhere else, I chose a supplier that produces in different places around the world so you won’t have to wait weeks to receive your order.

And yes, 25% of the profits will be donated to a Pawsome human or non-profit (details to be announced).

Annie Phenix (who you may remember from the Panic to Peace summit as well as one of the most popular masterclasses) hosted a webinar to help you prepare your dog for the holidays.

During my uni days in Saarbruecken (Germany) I had a friend from Yemen.

Walking around town with him gave me my first experience of prejudice.

Nasty remarks hissed behind our backs, being looked down on or outright ignored.

Not fun to be on the receiving end of people’s judgment, especially when that’s based on what people thought being (or hanging out with someone) from “somewhere in the Middle East or South America” meant, not facts or personal experience.

And people don’t just do it to other people.

For decades, certain dog breeds have been the target of hatred.

It hits bully breeds now.

My guest for this week’s episode is passionate about dispelling the myths that lead to fear, cruelty and unjust legislation.

Drayton Michaels started as a dog walker before becoming a certified dog trainer with a giant soft spot for pitbulls.

We talk about how lack of education breeds fear and everything that comes with it, and how he is making a difference with his work.

Bio: Drayton Michaels, CTC has been working with dogs professionally for over 20 years. He is a staunch advocate of force free positive reward based dog training. In 2009 he released the Pitbull Hoax documentary, which was the first ever documentary defending Pitbulls. Drayton works with roughly 400 dogs a year, conducts on average 3 to 4 puppy kindergarten classes every month.
